Museum Without Walls

History is all around us and there are creative ways to bring it alive. Sometimes it is traditional — like a walking tour brochure (left). Or redesigned public space, like the plan we completed for Kiesling Park in New Ulm (right). We can enhance that with short videos — what we call "pastcasts" — linked to smart phones by QR codes. The Stillwater Heritage Preservation Commission received an "Excellence Award for Best Practices" from the 2014 National Alliance of Preservation Commissions, in part for our video walking tour of that city's downtown historic district. We've developed master interpretive plans for downtown New Ulm, Minnesota, and Meeker County. We use all sorts of creative techniques, including VR and AR.

Take a look at one of the stops on our residential tour of Stillwater, Minnesota. We've completed "pastcast" projects for Urbana (Illinois), Red Wing, Little Falls, Stillwater, Litchfield, New Ulm, and St. Cloud.
